Artist Statement: (Double exposure)
I took this photo of me in the morning because there was good natural light. I chose the picture of the colorado mountains for numerous reasons. I liked the slight snow on the top of the flatiron. I also liked the slight cloud cover which created contrast. I took the photo in colorado over spring break, in anticipation of needing many nature focused images.
My Life:
I felt like these 5 photos represented my life in the best ay possible. It shows my love of sports and cars but also my love for the University of Michigan. In this collage, I want to show people what I enjoy and also what my passions are. I decided to go with a style where you can see each individual object. I felt that was a way to show who you are. My selfie is ok but I hate taking them. I feel as if taking them is just weird and people have nothing else better to than walk around with a phone in their face. I prefer portraits because they come out better. I wanted to have the images fade because each one is a part of me, not my whole picture.
